The cloth
Is every saree handloom?
Each product page names the craft, technique and region of that saree. We describe a saree as handwoven only where it is.
Why are there small irregularities?
Because a person made it. Slight variation in motif, alignment and colour is the mark of handwork, not a defect.
Will the colour run?
Hand-dyed and naturally dyed cloth may release a little colour in the first wash. This is normal.
How should I care for my saree?
Each product page carries care instructions for that saree.
Does it come with a blouse piece?
Where one is included, the product page says so.
Ordering
Are prices inclusive of tax?
Yes. All prices include GST.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, within 24 hours of placing it, with a full refund to your original payment method. After 24 hours, orders can’t be cancelled.
Shipping
Where do you ship?
Within India only.
What does shipping cost?
Nothing. Shipping is free on every order within India.
When will my order be dispatched?
Within 3–5 business days. Delivery time after that depends on your location, and you’ll receive tracking by email as soon as it ships.
What if my parcel can’t be delivered?
Please see our Shipping & Delivery policy.
Returns
Can I return a saree if I change my mind?
No. We don’t accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind. Please write to care@aayta.com with any question before you order.
What if it arrives damaged or it’s the wrong piece?
Tell us within 48 hours of delivery at care@aayta.com, with your unboxing video and order number. Once we’ve verified it, we’ll arrange the pickup and refund you in full.
