Onion pink linen becomes the ground for abstract forms in custard yellow, created through the unpredictable beauty of wax-resist Batik.
Molten wax is hand-printed onto the cloth before dyeing. As the wax naturally cracks, fine lines of colour find their way through, leaving behind the distinctive veined effect that gives Batik its unmistakable character.
Here, those irregular lines move through the pink and yellow abstraction, ensuring the pattern never feels mechanically exact.
A silver zari border cools the warmth of the palette.
The pallu continues the abstract design in onion pink and yellow, while the linen base keeps the saree crisp and breathable.
The accompanying blouse piece shifts the pattern again — linen with yellow polka dots.
Crafted in Kutch, with a supplied making time of approximately 7–8 days.
