Ivory modal, hand block printed with vertical black stripes running its full length — the salt flats drawn in their own two colours, emptiness made pattern.
The black selvedge carries a thin strip of cream-and-black circles, introducing a smaller geometry along the edge.
Then the pallu breaks the discipline of the body with round prints in red, blue and black — a sudden arrival of colour after the restraint of ivory and black.
