A Single Ikat Patola in pure silk, built around an unusually quiet pairing of pale green and dark maroon.
Across the pale green body, geometric motifs repeat in softly feathered forms.
That softness is not a printed effect.
The design begins before weaving, with the pattern resist-dyed into the yarn before it reaches the loom. During weaving, the pre-dyed threads are carefully aligned to reveal the motifs.
At the edge, a dark maroon border with square-shaped red and green motifs gives the pale body a stronger frame.
The pallu moves deeper still — maroon and gold with thin gold zari stripes.
From Limdi, Gujarat, woven on a frame loom, with a supplied making time of approximately 15–20 days.
The accompanying blouse piece is plain maroon silk.

Single ikat is created by resist-dyeing the yarn before weaving. According to the supplied craft information, the process produces the softly blurred or feathered edges characteristic of the technique.
These softened motif boundaries are a result of the dyed yarn being aligned during weaving and should not be considered printing errors or defects.
Minor variations in motif alignment, colour and weave are part of the handmade character of the textile.
