Sage green Maheshwari silk becomes a garden of large Batik flowers and pink dots, their edges carrying the softly cracked, veined character of wax-resist work.
The flowers do not look mechanically perfect.
They are not meant to.
Molten wax is hand-printed onto the cloth before dyeing, and as that wax naturally cracks, fine traces of colour enter the protected areas. Those small irregular lines become Batik's unmistakable signature.
Lili Phulwari is completely borderless.
Nothing frames the garden.
Nothing interrupts the green.
At the pallu, the scale changes. Smaller green and pink flowers scatter across the cloth, creating a gentler close after the larger motifs of the body.
The Maheshwari silk ground brings fineness and a light lustre beneath the more spontaneous character of Batik.
Crafted in Ajrakhpur, Kutch, Gujarat, with a supplied making time of approximately 7–8 days.

Batik is a handmade wax-resist process. The fine cracked or veined lines visible within the motifs are a signature characteristic of the craft, not defects.
Because the wax naturally cracks differently from one length of fabric to another, small variations in pattern, colour and veining are expected.
These variations make every handcrafted Batik saree subtly individual.
