A red cotton Jamdani carrying the tradition's original motifs across its body, held at the edge by a cream border.
The composition stays direct: red as the ground, cream at the border, and handwoven motifs building detail within the cloth. At the pallu, those motifs gather more closely, bringing the saree to its patterned conclusion.
Each motif is woven individually by hand into the fabric on a pit loom in Nadia, West Bengal.
The blouse piece is plain red cotton with a beige selvedge.
